Richter magnetic drive pumps are used to transport corrosive, hazardous or ultrapure media and are ideal for average and difficult operating conditions for media where stainless steel and special castings do not provide enough resistance to corrosion.
The Richter pump portfolio includes pump heads up to 150 m and operating temperatures from -60 to +200 ºC.
Technology: Single-stage, plastic-lined, sealless and mechanical seal standard chemical pumps (centrifugal pumps)
The important innovations include magnetic coupling pumps with SAFEGLIDE® PLUS slide bushings optimized for dry running and for solids up to 30% as well as SAFERUN® pump monitoring, which continuously monitors the measuring and operating data of the MNK magnetic drive pumps. Richter pumps provide the perfect alternative for pumps made of expensive and exotic metals (Hastelloy, Monel, tantalum, etc.) for media that contain solids, crystallize or that are toxic, hot or supercritical in some other way.
Advantages:
RMI/RMA: Magnetic drive pumps for moderate and difficult operating conditions
These magnetic drive, plastic-lined centrifugal chemical pumps do not have any seals and pump corrosive, environmentally harmful and ultrapure media in applications involving chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, semiconductor production, wood pulp, the metal industry, food, processing technology and waste disposal/recycling. They feature optimized hydraulics, solids restriction and a temperature range up to 150 ºC.
MNK/MNKA: Magnetic drive pumps for the most difficult operating conditions
These heavy-duty pump types are plastic-lined magnetic drive centrifugal chemical pumps in standard and block design. They do not use any seals and prevent the formation of eddy currents. The delivery rate extends to up to 600 m³/h with a pump head of 145 m. They are available in an ISO or ASME design.
RSI/RSA: Mechanical seal pumps for moderate and difficult operating conditions
These pump types are mechanical seal centrifugal pumps with a single-layer PFA lining. The rugged design also ensures dimensional stability at high temperatures. Standard RSI/RSA pumps (ISO/ASME designs) are equipped with labyrinth-like throttle rings that prevent large solids contained in the medium from entering the sealing space behind the impeller, reducing the axial thrust as a result. The conical sealing space aids in flushing the sliding surfaces.
SCK: Heavy-duty mechanical seal chemical pumps
This pump type has been developed for exceptionally long operating periods, even when operating near its limits, e.g. with cavitation, small flow rates and large flow rates. Like all Richter pumps, the SCK meets the requirements of ISO 5199. The mechanical seal technology encompasses the entire range from single-acting seals to complex, internally or externally lubricated and remotely monitored double-acting sealing systems.
MNK-S/SCK-S: Self-priming centrifugal chemical pumps
Self-priming Richter pumps prime automatically if the suction line is empty. This eliminates the need for feed tanks. Stationary and mobile containers can safely be emptied from above. The pumps are also ideal for emptying septic tanks. The self-priming pumps are available as magnetic drive pumps (standard and block designs) and mechanical seal pumps.
MNK-X/SCK-X: Non-chokable standardized chemical pumps
Non-chokable pumps are preferred for applications that pump media containing solids or entrained gases without any disruptions. In addition, they feature relatively good compatibility with gases. These pumps can be used to transport media with a solids content of up to approximately 30% by volume (depending on granularity and characteristics), particles from approximately 10 to 20 mm (depending on the pump size), fibrous particles and gas content of up to 5% by volume—all while keeping the pump and the media free of damage. The non-chokable pumps are available as magnetic drive pumps (standard and block designs) and mechanical seal pumps.
MPB: Peripheral chemical pumps with solenoid actuator
The design of peripheral pumps is specifically tailored to pumping smaller amounts (down to 5 m³/h) to higher heads (up to 100 m FS). The fields of application range from -60 ºC to 150 ºC and from vacuum pressure (when idle) to 16 bar based on the respective operating conditions and pump design.
